DontForgetMe (DFM) is a fully local app. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Your content stays on your device.
DontForgetMe ("DFM", "we", "the app") is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device using local storage. There is no backend, no database, no cloud sync, and no user account system.
None. DFM does not collect any data from you. Specifically:
All content you save in DFM (links, notes, reminders) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage mechanisms provided by the operating system. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
DFM does not require sign-up, login, or any form of authentication. There are no user accounts. You start using the app immediately after installation.
DFM does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data processing services. The app makes no network requests for tracking purposes.
DFM may access the network solely to fetch metadata (title, thumbnail) for URLs you save. This is a direct request to the URL you provided — no intermediary servers are involved, and no data about your activity is logged or transmitted elsewhere.
Since DFM collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children.
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with the new date. Given the app's local-only architecture, we do not anticipate significant changes.
